Patient Care Technician
We have open patient care technician jobs! PCTs provide hands-on support to patients and nursing staff, assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout care.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Collect specimens for lab testing as directed by nursing staff
Support nurses during medical procedures and examinations
Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the care team
Maintain clean, safe, and stocked patient areas
Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families
Skills & Experience:
- Patient Care Technician certification required (e.g., from the National Healthcareer Association or American Medical Certification Association).
- At least 1 year of experience in a patient care or clinical setting preferred.
- Active state certification or licensure as a Patient Care Technician required.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, patient assistance procedures, and healthcare protocols is highly valued.
