Description

Our client is a nonprofit serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Training Coordinator to lead staff development within their compliance department

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver new hire orientation and ongoing staff training.
  • Maintain training records in the HRIS system and ensure compliance with OPWDD standards.
  • Develop and update training materials and curricula.
  • Coordinate required training (SCIP-R, CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving).
  • Partner with managers to identify training needs and assess program effectiveness.
  • Manage outside vendor training and stay current with best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, or related field.
  • Current SCIP-R, CPR, First Aid, and Defensive Driving certifications.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in developmental disability services and knowledge of OPWDD
  • Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
