We have open medical billing and coding jobs! Billing and coding specialists translate patient care into accurate codes and process claims to ensure providers are reimbursed correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services
Review medical documentation for completeness and compliance
Prepare and submit insurance claims to payers
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve discrepancies
Maintain patient billing records and update account information
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations
Communicate with providers, insurance companies, and patients as needed
Skills & Experience:
Completion of a medical billing and coding program; CPC or CCS certification preferred
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer-specific coding guidelines
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify coding errors
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and billing software
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and handle sensitive patient information confidentially
