Responsibilities

  • Report to all assignments on time and in uniform, maintaining a professional and polished appearance at all times.
  • Prepare and organize radiation therapy stations, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for efficient treatment administration.
  • Assist in managing patient flow during radiation therapy sessions, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, oncologists, and healthcare staff to ensure accurate treatment delivery and a smooth workflow.

Skills & Experience

  • Radiation therapy certification required (e.g., from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Board of Radiology).
  • At least 1 year of experience in radiation therapy or a clinical setting preferred.
  • Active state certification or licensure as a radiation therapist required.
  • Familiarity with radiation treatment protocols, patient positioning, and safety procedures is highly valued.
