Responsibilities
- Report to all assignments on time and in uniform, maintaining a professional and polished appearance at all times.
- Prepare and organize surgical stations, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for the procedure.
- Assist in managing patient flow during surgeries, ensuring a clean, sterile, and organized environment.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure patient safety and smooth surgical operations.
Skills & Experience
- Surgical Tech certification required (e.g., from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs).
- At least 1 year of experience in a surgical tech or clinical setting preferred.
- Active state certification or licensure as a Surgical Technologist required.
- Familiarity with surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols is highly valued.
