Physical Therapist School Based

Job Overview
We are seeking Physical Therapists (PTs) to provide services within charter schools throughout Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Manhattan. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Schools are clustered geographically, allowing therapists to work within the same neighborhood and minimize travel time.

This is a great opportunity for therapists who enjoy working with children in an educational setting while maintaining a flexible schedule and consistent caseload.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students in a school-based setting
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
• Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with school requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support students in improving mobility, strength, coordination, and functional abilities

Position Details

• Pay: $55–$65 per hour depending on experience
• Schedule: Full-time or part-time available
• Setting: Charter schools
• Locations: Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan
• Schools grouped by location to support efficient scheduling

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in New York State
• Experience working with pediatric or school populations preferred
