We are seeking a Medical Technologist to perform complex laboratory tests that support the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Med Tech will analyze specimens, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure the accuracy of test results. This role requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids
Analyze samples using microscopes, analyzers, and other lab equipment
Record and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
Follow strict safety protocols and infection control procedures
Prepare specimens for reference laboratories when needed
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care
Document findings and maintain detailed laboratory records for compliance
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
ASCP or equivalent certification strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control
Ability to use and maintain complex diagnostic equipment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting results
Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
