Responsibilities:
- Report to all assignments on time and in uniform, maintaining a professional and polished appearance at all times.
- Prepare and organize laboratory stations, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for efficient specimen analysis.
- Assist in managing patient flow during testing and laboratory procedures, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff to ensure accurate specimen handling and a smooth workflow.
Skills & Experience:
- Medical technologist certification required (e.g., from the American Society for Clinical Pathology or American Medical Technologists).
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
- Active state certification or licensure as a medical technologist required.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment, specimen analysis, and laboratory safety protocols is highly valued.
